CEOs Blog September 2022

We have begun the new school year with our very first Trust Development Day where we welcomed all Staff, Members, Trustees and Governors to come together – #1 Trust. A few highlights from the day can be found on our Trust twitter account. We are grateful to the Eastern Pavilion, Oldham for hosting our event where we had an opportunity to collaborate across all four schools.

It was a great opportunity to meet with colleagues and develop ideas about what the Trust vision and values mean for our self, our individual school and for the Trust. We were joined by an Inspirational Speaker, Darren Edwards – Adventurer – who shared his story of resilience, embracing challenge and demonstrating strength through adversity.

I am extremely proud to be part of such a positive team of people who are striving to get the very best for the children and people within their school communities. We are looking forward to further developing practice and provision across the Trust and ensuring a continuum of provision that meets every child’s needs in the most appropriate way.

Everyone was invited to create a presentation that represented Kingfisher Learning Trust and we have taken the words used to develop the word cloud below.

I have confidence that as we move into a year that will bring both opportunities and challenges – we can ensure that by continuing to be a values-driven organisation, we can always ensure that there is no compromise in the quality of what we provide and through collaboration across the Trust, we can learn from each other to make a positive difference to the lives of the children in our schools.

All the best
