Kingfisher Learning Trust was established in 2016 in a considered manner and underpinned with strong beliefs. This has enabled the Trust to ensure compliance, a wise structure with the necessary skills and expertise in place to lead and govern the Trust. Time has been given to develop and agree the Trust’s quality-driven intent and values and vision to underpin the Trust’s journey onwards.
It was important in the beginning to establish the Trust with a skilled Trust Board and Governance model which was deliberately planned to ensure that knowledge and skills underpin the Governance of the Trust with appropriate delegated responsibility to each school’s Local Governing Board. The Board consists of Trustees with a wide range of professional experience that can deliver the dual responsibility of building strategy to deliver great outcomes for children alongside the culture of accountability that is necessary across the organisation.
