The Trust will offer a Central Support Service to member academies which will encompass a range of services.
These could include:
- Financial services (banking, payment of invoices, budget planning and reporting)
- Human resources services (payroll)
- ICT services
- Legal services
- Support for management of health and safety.
Additionally academies within the Trust will be able to access centralised procurement of contracts and Service Level Agreements, maximising the benefits of Trust wide purchasing.
Academies within the Trust will pay a ‘top-slice’ of their budget towards the central services, thus removing the burden of these areas from individual academies within the Trust.
As the Trust grows and develops, the model for the Central Support Service will evolve and the range of services will be able to grow and diversify to support the needs of the academies within the Trust.
